Botox is used to reduce crows feet, remove the deep line between the eyes (above the bridge of the nose) and remove frown lines. Results last for between 4 and 6 months. Contrary to popular myth, if you stop using Botox there are no negative effects, you simply stop seeing the benefits. The key benefit being that the face looks fresher and more youthful. Botox was originally used by the medical profession to treat patients with facial tics, its purpose was to disable the muscle and relax the face thereby stopping the twitch. It was later used by the medical profession for aesthetic effect. It has been used in this way for over 20 years with no negative side effects.

Juvederm Ultra is a range of smooth consistency gels which are injected to restore volume, fill lines, wrinkles and folds and redefine lips. Juvederm Ultra is from a family of hyaluronic acid fillers that are able to correct moderate and severe folds for up to one year. It is generally used around the mouth area to reduce the ageing effect of the deep smile lines which can result in a sad and drawn appearance. If this is combined with Botox we can also achieve a fuller lip and remove the vertical lines often associated with smoking.

Skin Peels

Do not think Sam and Sex in the City!!
If your skin is thinning (inevitable as we get older) this may be a better alternative for you than Medical Microdermabrasion.

Firstly you will need to prep the skin by using a glycolic cleanser and a night time repair cream. Once your skin is ready we start with a very low percentage peel, you will be delighted with the results. You will need to follow a post peel home care programme but you will be on your way to a fabulous complexion without the surgery!! You will continue to use the cosmaceutical products along with your own skin care regime, you will no longer have a build up of dead skin care cells and you will require only a minimum of salon treatments to maintain you fabulous new complexion.
